Start fresh with wallpaper removal
We can make removing wallpaper quick and painless
Wallpaper removal varies depending on the type of wallcovering used, the wallpaper's age, and if the previous installer installed it properly. Try peeling off a corner of your wallpaper and see how it reacts.
- If it easily comes off in one fell swoop, you're good to go!
- If the wallpaper starts to come off but mysteriously stops, only comes off in 1 inch strips, or the front of the wallpaper comes off but leaves behind a paper backing, you'll want to call us, or bust out your DIY chops and get ready to spend a day or two removing wallpaper, patching drywall damage, and sanding rough spots.
Looking to paint over wallpaper? Go ahead! There's a lot of conflicting advice on if you have to remove wallpaper before painting, and as experts we are telling you it's okay. That being said, any texture the wallpaper has will show through the paint. So if you want smooth walls, it's still a good idea to remove the wallpaper first.

Wallpaper Removal process
Let's talk so we can assess what wallpaper removal or installation you'll be needing.
We'll need to know the size of the room or wall. You can measure yourself, or we can come assess your project and take measurements for you.
If you can clear the space beforehand, that would be great. But we can also do it for you. We also lay down a drop cloth to protect the floor.
Our professionals can take anywhere from 2 hours for a small one-wall project, to 2 days for a large multi-room project. We have all the wallpaper removal tools necessary, such as steamer, putty knife, spray bottle, primer, rags, putty, sandpaper, ladders, etc. You can remove wallpaper yourself, but expect it to take five times as long.
The best part of wallpaper removal is how clean everything looks afterwards! We won't ever leave your walls or home in a mess.
